Finishing
ProTier SPC offers 2 types of finishing; EIR and Regular Embossed. EIR is a type of registered embossed made with specialized plates, the embossing follows the pattern of the image and gives a realistic wood-look to the plank. Regular embossing imprints the plank with wood grain lines which do not follow the pattern of the image.
Thickness and Wear
Our products come in 2 types of thicknesses and wear layers; 5.5mm/0.5mm and 8mm/0.7mm. The 5.5mm product has a 0.5mm wear layer, this plank is suitable for residential and commercial installations, enough to withstand 25,000 cycles of chair wheels rolling over it. The 8mm product has a 0.7mm wear layer, this is more of a heavy duty plank designed for industrial and extremely heavy traffic. Both of these SPC flooring products come with a pre-attached IXPA membrane for added comfort.
